Mrs. Susie Allen Dies Tuesday<\/b><\/p>\n
Mrs. Susie Geneva Allen<\/strong>, wife of E.H. Allen<\/strong>, died at her home at Keltonburg in DeKalb county Tuesday evening at 9:55 o’clock, following and illness of several months.\u00a0\u00a0 She was 73. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Keltonburg Methodist Church.\u00a0\u00a0 Rev. W.G. Hawkins<\/strong> officiated and burial was in Keltonburg cemetery.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mrs. Allen, born\u00a0 April 14, 1878 in DeKalb county, was a daughter of Thomas Jones<\/strong> and Frances Walker Jones<\/strong> and she was married August 5, 1897 to the late B.M. Cantrell<\/strong>. He died April 8, 1929. Mrs. Allen was married to E.H. Allen<\/strong> September 10, 1940 and he survives. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Haskell Cantrell<\/strong>, McMinnville, and Clyde Cantrell<\/strong>, Kelton burg; two stepsons, Nathan Cantrell<\/strong>, McMinnville, and Thurman Cantrell<\/strong>; two step-daughters, Mrs. James Tramel<\/strong> and Mrs. John Redmon<\/strong>.
