Mrs. Akeman, 77, Buried Yesterday<\/b><\/p>\n
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Akeman<\/strong>, widow of John W. Akeman<\/strong>, died at Riverview Rest Home Tuesday morning at 8:30 o’clock at Smyrna Church of Christ.\u00a0 Rev. Emmett and Silas F. Shaw<\/strong> officiated and burial was in Smyrna cemetery. A native of Warren County, Mrs. Akeman was a daughter of John P. Jaco<\/strong>. Her husband died August 14, 1952. Mrs. Akeman was a member of the Campaign Church of God. She is survived by a step-son, Jim Cruise, Detroit, Mich., and a step-daughter, Mrs. Beecher Hudson<\/strong>, McMinnville.
