A homemaker and member of the Smartt Station Church of God, she was the daughter of<strong> Jim Turner<\/strong> and M<strong>elvina Reeder Turner<\/strong>. She is survived by her husband, Mercer L. Adams, Sr. of McMinnville; three daughters, <strong>Melba Jean Maggart<\/strong> of Lavergne; <strong>Shirley Ann McBride<\/strong> of Smyrna; <strong>Sandra Sue Howell<\/strong> of Weaver, Ala; four sons, <strong>Mercer Lee Adams, Jr<\/strong>. of Nashville; <strong>Charles Edwin, Thomas Clark<\/strong> and <strong>David Franklin Adams<\/strong>, all of McMinnville; two brothers, <strong>Charlie Price Turner<\/strong> of McMinnville; and <strong>John Loyd Turner<\/strong> of McMinnville; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at High&#8217;s Chapel with Johnny Carr officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory.
