(d. 1953)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Victor P. Adair Dies At Hospital<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Victor P. Adair<\/strong>, 77, retired railroad employee, died at Faulkner Springs hospital Sunday morning at 10:30 o\u2019clock. He had been admitted to the hospital for treatment of asthma and his death was unexpected.\u00a0 Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o\u2019clock at Rock Island Presbyterian Church.\u00a0 John W. High officiated and burial was in Rock Island cemetery.\u00a0 A native of Warren county, Mr. Adair was born November 18, 1876.\u00a0 He was as son of <strong>William Adair<\/strong>, native of Ireland, and <strong>Sarah E. Baker Adair<\/strong> and he was married to Miss <strong>Annie Moffitt<\/strong> who died in 1947.\u00a0 Mr. Adair, retired for several years, had resided with his sister, <strong>Mrs. Simpson Dunlap<\/strong>, for the past five years and was a member of the Presbyterian church.\u00a0 Besides his sister, he is survived by another sister, <strong>Mrs. John M. Rowland<\/strong>, Rowland Station; two half-brothers,<strong> John C<\/strong>. and <strong>Zubra Adair<\/strong>, and a half-sister, <strong>Mrs. Joline Williams<\/strong>, Toledo, Ohio.\u00a0 Arrangements were by High Funeral Home.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"right\">Southern Standard, McMinnville, TN.\u00a0 Thurs, Dec 3, 1953, p. 9<br \/>\n[Contributor:\u00a0 Maxine Reggio, Bethany, OK, 2000]<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Victor P.
