I think his father was James Baker. They seem to be from either Van

and nancy denton and their respective families. they had a son in 1842
ozias denton bowman, born in spencer, van buren county, tn. ozias with

I'm looking for info on my gggrandmother Margaret(BRITT)TURNER. She was
born in 1836 in a Choctaw Village near Sunk Cane. Which at the time could
have been in Cumberland, White or Van Buren counties. She married Headley
Turner and died in Cumberland co. in 1916. Descendants include Isham TURNER
- Lola TURNER who was married to Hiram HEDGECOTH - Ervin HEDGECOTH who

I am researching my great grandfather Alonzo Lewis Butler, born May 1859.
According to census records he was born in TN, his father was born in TN,
and his mother was born in AL. I have all the information after he married

Searching for lineage of my great-grandmother mary jane CHAMBERS b/oct.1875
in spencer,tn, also any clues about her first husband (my great-grandfather)

I an searching for any information on John CHRISTIAN born in Spencer, Van
Buren County, approx. 1845. He married Myra MARTIN of Warren County.
She was born May 16, 1844 and died March 13, 1904. They are the parents
of my greatgrandmother Eliza Jane CHRISTIAN who was born June 29, 1877
and married James Henry HILL. I would love to know John's birthdate,
parents' names, brothers and sisters, and the
brothers and sisters of Eliza Jane. Any help would be greatly

I am searching for information on John Christian born about 1845 in Spencer,
Van Buren Co. He married Myra Martin who was born May 16, 1844 in
Warren County. Their daughter, Eliza Jane Christian, is my greatgrandmother.

CRAWLEY, LEWIS
In Sep. 1842, Thomas CRAWLEY (age 87) and wife Margaret of Van Buren Co.
TN, sold 150 acres and entered into an agreement to give personal property
to Thomas LEWIS of White Co. TN, in exchange for his provision and care
of them. I would like to know if there is any relationship between
Lewis and the Crawleys and also if Thomas Lewis left a will in either White
or Van Buren county.
