Mustard PicklesTo 1 gallon vinegar: 1/2# ground mustard 6 tbsp. flour 2 oz. turmeric 2 1/2 cup sugar Let cucumbers and small onions stand in salt brine 3 days. Let vinegar come to a boil, add sugar. Mix mustard, flour, and turmeric together. Add cold water to make a thin batter. Add to boiling vinegar. Stir until thick. Add cucumbers and pickles. Heat through, and seal. submitted by Fred Smoot
