Country Ribs
1 pkg country pork ribs (about 8 ribs)
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
salt and pepper to taste
1 large onion
1 lg. can diced, stewed tomatoes
1 lg. bottle catsup
Sprinkle
ribs with salt and pepper to taste. Brown in large pot in 1 tbsp.
vegetable oil. Add 1 lg. onion, halved and sliced. Add stewed tomatoes
and catsup. Stir everything. Cover with a lid and simmer on med-low
heat for about 3 hrs. Serve over rice with cornbread on the side.
Passed down from my great grandmother.
