Delicious Loaf Cake

Cream together. Add 5 egg whites, beaten stiff. Stir and beat until as light as foam. Add 1/2 cup cornstarch which has been dissolved in a little sweet milk. Stir in not quite 2/3 cup sweet milk, 2 1/2 cup sifted flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. vanilla. Bake 4 days before using.

Boil in double boiler 1 minute, beat while cooling. Add 1 tbsp. vanilla. Beat until thick enough to spread.
