TRUSTING in your Care and Fidelity, I do by these
Presents, Pursuant to the Power and Authority to Me Granted in and by

the General Assembly of the Said Province, Nominate and Appoint you to be
Guardian unto

Abigail Wyman in her 16 Year of Age Daughter of Mr

with full Power and Authority to Ask, Demand, Sue for, Recover, Receive and Take into
your Custody all and Singular such Part and Portion of Estate as Acrues to unto
her in Right of unto
her Father
or which by any other Way or Means whatsoever doth of Right Appertain or belong to

her And to Manage, Imploy and
Improve the same for unto
her
best Profit and Advantage, And to Render a plain & true Accompt of your
Guardianship
upon Oath, so far as the Law will charge you therewith, when you shall be lawfully
Required, and pay and deliver such and so much of the said Estate as shall be
remaining upon your Accompt ( the same being first examined and allowed by the
Judge or Judges, for the Time being, of Probate, &c.) unto the said Minor, when unto

as the said judge or Judges, by his or their Decree or Sentence, Pursuant to Law shall

It appears that the name of Nathaniel Wyman (minor) was added to the Court
Order after it was filled out in Abigail Wymans name. The order states,
At Said
minors own Election. Perhaps Nathaniel waited until the last minute to decide
who would be his guardian.
