Colored Club Organized
The colored democrats of Huntingdon organized a club at the court house last Monday night. The club consisted of 26 members and it is said there are more yet to join. The following officers were elected: W. M. McAuley, president; Bristo Bryant, vice-president; Bud Wall, secretary; Charlie W. Scates, assistant secretary; Tom Scates, treasurer; Ernest Scates and William Blackwell, reception committee. Several speeches were made by members of the club, and the boys are very enthusiastic over the work they are going to do.
