Two other children born after are Ava or Avarilla Phillips, and Hill Phillips, minors in 1867 residing in Franklin Co. TN. I am not related but working on a farm history.

"ADAM'S SEMINARY", HAYWOOD OR TIPTON COUNTY, 1884 Does anyone have information about this school which my grandmother attended? She lived in Tipton County near a rural community of Tabernacle on the road from Stanton to Covington. From her letters it was within walking distance of Tabernacle, although a long walk.

Looking for information on John Frank ADKINSON (b Nov 1865 ) in Tipton County. He married Elnora TURNAGE on 14 Jun 1889 and died in Dec 1926. I believe his father was J. B. ADKINSON. I need exact birth and death dates for him and a confirmation of his parents.

Looking for information on Henry Martin TURNAGE ( b 1838) in Tipton County. He was married to Rebecca MANLY appx 1860. I am looking for birth, marriage, and death dated for both; as well as any other details. He appears to have resided in Tipton County all his life.

Ulissus S. SAMUEL and Samantha Pathyna RUDD were married 7-13-1867 in Haywood Co, TN. Ulissus was a Confederate veteran, serving in Co. A, 10th Tenn. Calvery, Bells Brigade, and 51st Tenn. Regiment, Co. A, Cheathams Division, Chalmers Brigade. Samantha's parents were Lemuel and Lydia Rudd of Haywood Co. Ulissus and Samantha lived in Tipton Co in the 1870's, migrated to Wise Co, TX in the 1880's, and later to Cass Co, TX. I am seeking information on the ancestors of Ulissus, Lemuel, and Lydia.

I am looking for the parents of George WOOD, b. 1858, m. Bettie H. HARRIS, b. 1868. They are listed in Tipton Co. TN 1900 census with their children: Howell H., James, George, and Bettie. (Robert was born later). They were all listed as being born in TN, but George Sr.s father was from VA and mother from N.C. Bettie Sr.s father was from VA, and her mother was from TN. They were married in Tipton Co. TN in Dec. 1882. Any help would be appreciated.
