Dorothy E. Nolan of Rock Falls, Ill., formerly of Covington, died in CGH Medical Center. Private services were on July 6 at Garlalnd Funeral Home in Walnut, Ill., with Rev. Dalmus Meeks officiating. Interment was in Walnut Cemetery.

Born in Covington, her parents were the late Fred and Della Joy Billings. Mrs. Nolan is survived by her widower, Bob Nolan, to whom she was married 52 years; a son, Fred Nolan of Sterling, Ill.; three daughters, Brenda Cochran, Cheryl Harris and Barb Thompson of Rock Falls; a sister, Velma McCullough of Covington; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
