VICTIM OF MENINGITIS--Ed MORGAN,of the Poplar Grove vicinity,but for the last two years,a blacksmith in Brighton,died in a Memphis hospital of meningitis Sunday morning.The body was returned to that community,funeral services were at the cemetery in that place Monday.Mr.MORGAN is survived by his widow and 2 sons.

HOPEWELL--Born December 31st to Mr.& Mrs.J.W.JOYNER,a son.

WEDDING--Announcements is made of the recent marriage,of Pauline MASHBURN,daughter of Mr.& Mrs.Joe MASHBURN,of Clopton,to Mr. Vernon WATKINS, son of Mr.& Mrs.J.O.WATKINS, also of Clopton.The marriage occurred in Marion,AR Friday,January 1st.

WEDDING--A brilliant wedding is to be solemnized at the First Methodist Church this afternoon,when Miss Lyna FLOWERS,daughter of Mr.& Mrs.G.H.FLOWERS becomes the bride of James Shields MATTHEWS,Jr.

MARRIAGE--Mrs.Henry O’BRYAN announces the marriage of her daughter,Velma,to J.Pierce RICHARDSON,of San Antonia,Texas,on Saturday,December 26th,1931 in Marion,AR.

MARRIAGE--Announcement is made of the recent marriage of Miss Hazel WELLS to Joseph E.BRAGMAN,formerly of Covington,on January 3rd,in Hernando,MS.

YOUNG CHILD DIES--Robert Francis,5-year-old son of Mrs.Maud DEVER,of Memphis,died last Saturday evening in that city,of diphteria.The body was brought to Covington the same day,funeral services were graveside Sunday at Mt.Lebanon Cemetery.Mrs.DEVER is the daughter of Mr.& Mrs.Rube BRAMMER,of the 12th district.

LOCALS--Born to Mr.& Mrs. Gordan WILLIAMS,Thursday,December 31st,a daughter.

Born to Mr.& Mrs.Herbert CATES,of the Burlison vicinity,January 3rd,a daughter,Betty Lou.

WIFE SLAYS HUSBAND--Horace DANIELS,35,auto mechanic,was killed early Wednesday by his divorced wife,Kate DANIELS,at the home of her parents,two miles north of Jackson.Mrs.DANIELS is said to have told officers that DANIELS came to the home about 2 a.m. and demanded that she come out in the yard.She said he was intoxicated.When she refused,he tried to force his way in.She fired one shot,which struck him in the breast,killing him.Mrs.DANIELS was granted a divorce in December,1929,on grounds of cruel and inhurman treatment.The couple has one child,a son,aged 15 years.DANIELS is well known in Covington,having at different times been employed in this city.The officers in Jackson says the homicide was justifiable and no warrant will be issued against Mrs.DANIELS. Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning from Griffen Funeral Home,Jackson,burial in Hollywood Cemetery there.Besides his wife and child,he is survived by his father,J.W.DANIELS,of Woodville; seven brothers, Alec DANIELS, Vernon DANIELS, John DANIELS, and Wiley DANIELS,all of Ripley, W.A.DANIELS,of Covington, Edgar DANIELS,of Dyersburg,(only named six brothers),and three sisters,Mrs.W.T.RICE,of Ripley,   Miss Bertha DANIELS,of Woodville, and  Mrs.M.O.CROWDER,of Golddust.

AGED WOMAN DIES--Mrs.Margaret RICHARDSON,80 years,died at the home of a daughter,Mrs.Toll OWNSEND,of the 3rd District Saturday.Funeral services were held at Smyrna Baptist Church,of which she was a member.Mrs.Richardson’s death followed an invalidism of from 10 to 15 years,she having been seriously ill the last several months.Besides her daughter,she leaves a son,Ulysses RICHARDSON,also of the 3rd District; and two brothers,J.W.ROGERS,of the same vicinity, and W.M.ROGERS,of Covington.

YOUNG WIFE DIES--Mrs.Fannie Sue NETTLES,23 years,who has been making her home with her step-father,Joe TRACEY,of near Mudville,died in Memphis Tuesday,after two operations.Funeral services were held at Mt.Lebanon yesterday,being conducted by Mrs.Nettles’ grandfather,Rev.G.W.NETTLES. Surviving are her husband; son; mother; grandparents; step-father; and several half-brothers and half-sisters.

> DEATH REPORTED--The death of Rev.Ger.O.WATTS,rector of St.Matthews Espicopal Church in Covington in the years 1906 and 1907, is reported in Hampton,VA on Thursday,December 31st,1931.

AGED WOMAN PASSES--Mrs.Minnie Templeton BOWERS,76 years,of Memphis,died at her home there Wednesday morning.Funeral services were held this morning at Simpson Cemetery,near Munford,of which vicinity Mrs.Bowers was a native.Surviving her are a daughter,Mrs.A.D.BYARS; a sister,Mrs.Addie SULLIVAN,of Memphis,and a sister,Mrs.Nora Graves ,of Randolph;A brother,E.C.TEMPLETON,of Randolph.

YOUNG WIFE DIES--Mrs.Ella R.BOEDEN,wife of J.T.BOWDEN,of Brighton,died at her home Saturday.Funeral services were conducted at Mt.Lebanon Church,interred in Church Cemetery.A son and daughter also survive.

NEGRO DIES AFTER HEAD-ON COLLISION--A small coupe driven at a high rate of speed,crashed into a T-Model Ford touring car Sunday evening about 7 p.m.,with fatal results to the negro driving the Ford. A.B.BURLISON & Jack STARNES,both of Munford,and a car driven by Henderson RUDD,negro,hit head-on in front of the Jess TURNER place,five miles south of Covington,on Highway #59.Burlison,son of Mrs.Robert DAVIDSON,of Atoka,was seriously injured about the head,some 25 stitches to close gaping wounds on his forehead,he lost six teeth,as his jawbone was badly crushed.Starnes,of Munford,suffered similar injuries.Burlison was on the wrong side of the road.

BURNED--David HARMON,83 years,pioneer citizen of Obion,was burned to death early Tuesday when attempting to rescue a sister,Mrs.Sarah WINSETTS,80 years.Rescued from his blazing home by a son,George HARMON,who had carried Mrs.WINSETTS from the house also,the elder HARMON made his way into the house again,knowing his sister had been asleep on the second floor.The aged man was overcome by smoke and collapsed in the room ordinarily occupied by Mrs.WINSETTS,where he burned to death.Mr.HARMON is an uncle of Mrs.John KINCAID,who with Mr.KINCAID,and children,have rooms in the J.H.FORTNER residence here.

PNEUMONIA CLAIMS GILT EDGE MOTHER--Mrs.Laverghne SMITH.wife of Les SMITH,of Flatwoods,died Wednesday morning after an illness of several months,pneumonia being the immediate cause of her death.Funeral services at the Campground,interment in Church Cemetery.Mrs.SMITH was only 32 tears of age and the mother of four small children.She was the daughter of Mrs.J.H.SLOAN,and the late Mr.SLOAN,of Gilt Edge;also surviving are 2 brothers,Henry & Ira SLOAN;three sisters,Mrs.J.R.HILL, and Misses Marie & Atrelle SLOAN,all of the Gilt Edge > community.

BURIED IN ARKANSAS--Mrs.Ollie BALLARD,of Randolph,received news Saturday,January 2nd,of the death of her mother,Mrs.G.C.OVERTON,which occurred at the home of a daughter,Mrs.Jessie ANDERSON,of Gravel Ridge,Ark.Mrs.OVERTON was born in Tippah County,Miss.,where she lived until her marriage to Mr.OVERTON.After their marriage,they moved to the Detroit area in this cointy,where they resided for 20 years.Mr.OVERTON preceded his wife to the grave.Mrs.OVERTON is survived by two other children;C.W.OVERTON & Mrs.J.H.FULLER,all of this county.

MARRIAGE--Relatives & friends have been recently informed of the recent ma rriage of Miss Sadie ALLISON,daughter of Mr.& Mrs.J.D.ALLISON,of Brownsville,to Mr.Bright TIPTON,son of Judge & Mrs.James TIPTON,of Brownsville.The marriage was performed at the First Methodist Church,Humboldt,during the Christmas holidays.

MARRIAGE--Announcement is made of the marriage of  Mildred Rebecca Thompson,daughter of Mr.& Mrs.James D.THOMPSON,of Atoka,to Ercel BEAVER,son of Mr.& Mrs.John D.BEAVER,of Tipton,on Sunday.

LOCALS--Born to Mr.& Mrs.Henry HORTON,of Tabernacle,Saturday January 9th,a son.

Mr.P.S.MEACHAM,formerly of Curve,is moving this week to the John PAINE residence on North Maple.He is to serve as local manager of Wiggley Nelson’s.

Mr.J.C.DOUGLASS and Miss Lillian EWELL,both of the Mason community,were united in marriage at the Covington Courthouse Wednesday.

DIES IN HOSPITAL--Edward C.Shelton,71,of Millington,formerly of Mason,died Sunday in the Baptist Hospital,Memphis,following an operation.Burial in Belmont Cemetery.He leaves a neice and three nephews.

BRIGHTON NOTES--The Death Angel visited the home of Mr.Pearl MASON Thursday of last week and took his wife.Mrs.MASON had been confined to her bed several days with pneumonia.Burial took place the day following at Indian Creek Cemetery.She is survived by her husband and four children.

WEDDING--Mr.& Mrs.V.B.SMITH,of Memphis,announce the recent marriage of their daughter,Mary,to Verble R.PEELER,of Memphis,he is a son of Mr.& Mrs.W.W.PEELER,of this vicinity.Married on Thursday,December 31st,1931.

OPEN FIRE VICTIM--Sadie BYRD,daughter of Mr.& Mrs.Jack BYRD,of the Garland community,is in the Methodist Hospital and Mrs.BYRD is seriously burned about the hands and arms as a result of Miss BYRD have been standing before an open grate when her clothing became ignited.

MARRIAGE--Mr.& Mrs.L.P.ANDERSON,of Memphis,announce the marriage of their daughter,Carolyn,to Harold Eugene RICHARDSON,son of Mrs.Myrtle RICHARDSON,and the late Dr.H.X.RICHARDSON;the wedding took place June 31st,1931 in Marion,Ark.

FATHER AND DAUGHTER KILLED AT CROSSING--Robert  L.FORTNER,of Memphis,and his daughter,Miss Annie Louise FORTNER,are both dead as a result of their automobile having been struck by an N.C.& St.L.passenger train at York Avenue and South McLean Street,early Tuesday morning.Mr.FORTNER was born and reared in this county,until he was in his early teens.Later in life,he married Miss Alice KELLY,of this county,daughter of the late Mr.& Mrs.N.M.KELLY,of near Almyra. He is survived by children; L.M.FORTNER,Frank FORTNER and Miss Dorsey FORTNER,the latter two of school age.He is als survived by his father,Louis D.FORTNER,of Stanton; two brothers,Raymond FORTNER and Stephen FORTNER,of Calif.,and six sisters.

FUNERAL--W.M.”Tuck”JACKETT,of Rialto,died Monday night at Baptist Hospital,Memphis,as arrangements were being made to give him treatment there for heart trouble.Funeral services were held in Covington,interment in Munford Cemetery,this city.He was born in Alderney,England,April 25th,1853,but had lived in Tipton County most of his life.He is survived by one sister,Mrs.HURT,of Halls.

MARRIAGE--E.L.WORRELL and Mrs.Myrtle GREER,both of this city were married Saturday evening.

DEATH--Mrs.Nannie McREE,widow of Thomas F.McREE,died at her home in Nashville Thursday.She was buried there the following day.Mrs.McREE made her home in Atoka many years following her husband’s death before moving to Nashville.

CHARGED WITH FORGERY--H.L.NORTHCUTT,formerly of Leigh’s Chapel vicinity,but recently of Glimp,in Lauderdale County,was arrested Saturday and lodged in county jail,charged with forgery.He forged a number of checks on firms and individuals in Covington,all for small amounts.

LOCALS--Born to Mr.& Mrs.Lytle MORTON,of the Holly Grove vicinity on Thursday,January 14th,a daughter,Helen Maxine MORTON. --Born to Dr.& Mrs.Alphonso SIMS,of Coleanor,Ala.,Monday January 18th,a daughter.Mrs.SIMS is the former Elizabeth OWEN,of this city.

GOES BY PLANE--Roy C.BOYD,of this city,received a wire last Friday,informing him of the death of his father,W.C.BOYD,in California.He flew by airplane from Memphis Saturday to be present at the funeral.

DIES FOLLOWING OPERATION--Josh G.LARIMORE,well known citizen of the Garland community,died at St.Joseph’s Hospital,Memphis,Monday.Death was caused by pneumonia,following an operation ten days ago.Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery.He is survived by his wife,Mrs.Cannie LARIMORE and three children;Edward, Myron,and Marguerite LARIMORE;his mother,Mrs.G.T.LARIMORE;three sisters,Mesdames Beulah MAX and C.BRADSHAW;two brothers, Q.O.& L.O.LARIMORE.

DIES SATURDAY AFTERNOON--Robert Lee CLARK,native of Covington,and resident of Memphis for the past 20 years,died Saturday afternoon at his home,the victim of a heart attack,he was 40 years old.Surviving him are a son;Robert,Jr.;his mother,Mrs.Luta Malone CLARK;a brother,Guy B.CLARK;a sister,Luta E.CLARK,all of Memphis.Burial in Munford Cemetery,this city.

MARRIAGE--Miss Billie ALLEN,of Memphis,and Jack LOWENHAUPT were married in the rectory of St.Joseph Church,Memphis,Sunday.

BURIED LAST SATURDAY--Mrs.Florence Boyd POLK,of Memphis,widow of J.M.POLK,of this city,died at her home in Memphis Friday afternoon.Burial was in Munford Cemetery.Mrs.POLK was born in Henning,moved to Covington when she married and then to Memphis in 1928.She is survived by three daughters;Miss Hattie POLK, Mrs.E.F.SIMPSON and Mrs.J.W.PEETE,Jr.,of Memphis;a sister,Mrs.J.D.ALSTON and a brother,W.D.BOYD,of Henning.

BIRTH--Born to Mr.& Mrs.Robert GRACEY,of Memphis recently,a son.

FORMER RESIDENT WAS WAR VETERAN--Notices have appeared of the death of William Oscar WILDER,70 years,formerly of Galloway,but recently of Memphis.His death occurred at his residence Tuesday evening at 11:45 o’clock.Funeral services were held this afternoon by Rev.H.D.KNICKERBOCKER,of Memphis,at the residence.Mr.WILDER is survived by his widow; two daughters,Miss Ruth WIDER,of Memphis and Mrs.L.E.OGELSBY,of New Orleans,LA; and three brothers,A.S.WILDER,of Galloway, and H.J.& J.C.WILDER,both of Mason.Mr.WILDER was a member of Major M.A.WALKER’s battalion during the Spanish-American war,joining at Jackson.He at the time was a resident of Galloway.Major WALKER has been asked to serve as a pallbearer.

BARRETVILLE JURY COMPLETED TUESDAY--After 3,329 veniremen had been considered in the impending Barretville murder trial,the 12th juror was added late Tuesday afternoon,the 25th day since examination began.The men on trial for their lives are:Preston COPELAND, W.F.JOHNSON, Chester PRYOR, John ASHER and L.B.WHEELER.The five are accused of 1st degree murder for the death of James McFERRIN,whose charred body was found in the ruins of the Barretville Bank last May 10th,after it had been robbed and burned.

MORRISON MAKES GRADE--John MORRISON,son of Rev.&

> Mrs.S.B.MORRISON,of this city,has notified his parents of having successfully past a very rigid examination at Nashville.He has been transferred to the Great Lakes Naval Station of the U.S.Navy.

-INJURED BY TRUCK--Harry COCHRAN,son of Bob COCHRAN,of the King’s Chapel vicinity,was painfully cut last night,when his buggy was struck by a hit and run truck driver.He was injured around the face and head and lost considerable blood before being given first-aid treatment by a local physician.According to the physician,COCHRAN does not know who hit him.

> -SHOT LOADING GUN--Word has reached Covington of a serious accident on Island 35 last Sunday morning.Virgil TATE,son of Tom TATE,of Millington,is said to have had his left arm almost blown off at the shoulder.It was reported that young TATE had just reached the island foe a day of hunting and was loading an automatic shotgun,when it accidently fired,the full charge striking him in the arm near the shoulder.No later report of his condition has been received.

-LIEUT.McCLELLAND HERE--Lieut.Charles B.McCLELLAND,Jr.,of Fort Clark,Texas,rode by airplane for 1,000 miles last Saturday in order to spend the night with his parents,Judge & Mrs.Charles B.McCLELLAND,of this city.While at Fort Crocket,Galvestion,Texas,for a 10-day course in flying,he seized an opportunity to fly to Memphis,to visit his parents,returning to Memphis Sunday to return to Texas.

> -DEATH--Mrs.Elizabeth Smith JAMIESON,81 years,died at her home in Memphis Wednesday morning,January 27th.Funeral services were conducted by Dr.R.J.BATEMAN at the residence Friday morning,interment occurring in Elmwood Cemetery,Memphis.Surviving are a son,Detective Sergeant D.J.JAMIESON; and a brother,A.J.SMITH,both of Memphis.Mrs.JAMIESON was born and reared in the Brighton vicinity and is also survived by numerous relatives there and in Covington.

-LOCALS--BORN to Mr.& Mrs.John SHERROD,of this city,Saturday morning,a son,John R.,Jr. --BORN to Mr.& Mrs.J.W.LENTS,of Covington,Wednesdaymorning,a daughter,Shirley Elizabeth.--Mr.George M.GOLDSMITH,of Portland,Ore.,and Mrs.Emma SMITH,a daughter of Mr.Joel SAWYER,of this county,were married at the courthouse Saturday afternoon.Judge C.B.McCLELLAND was the officianting officer.

THE SICK THIS WEEK--Mr.E.L.WHITE was reported hardly as well as yesterday.He has now been confined to his room for ten days. --Mr.John GOODMAN continues to be confined to his room on Shelton Street.Little improvement in his condition is noted this week. --Mrs.George TURNER has been confined to her home on High Street this week.Friends reported her as being but little improved Wednesday afternoon.--Mrs.J.B.WITHERINGTON,of Munford,has been permitted to sit up short periods the last few days following her illness extending over a period of about five weeks. --Mrs.Marvin STRICKLAND is being treated and x-rayedin the Baptist hospital,Memphis,this week.It is now thought she will undergo an operation early in next week. --Mrs.R.W.LEMMON,of Hollywood,Miss.,has been reported very ill in the Methodist hospital,Memphis.Mr.LEMMON was formerly a resident of Covington,being a brother of Mrs.J.C.McQUISTON. --Mrs.Warren HAMBY and baby,who have both been ill at their home in the Clopton vicinity,are reported improving by the attending physician.The infant is recovering from pneumonia.Myrtle COATS,of the Burlison vicinity was admitted to the Baptist Hospital,Memphis,Tuesday.Several efforts to get in touch with relatives failed,and the Leader is unable to report her condition to her friends.--Little Joe McINTOSH,who has been confined to his bed for three months with a broken leg,will have the cast removed and another x-ray taken in a Memphis clinic Friday.He is the son of Mr.& Mrs.Embrey McINTOSH,of this city. --Friends have reported of several Garland people who have been ill. Miss Sadie BYRD,who was seriously burned some weeks ago,is still in a Memphis hospital.Her mother,Mrs.Jack BYRD,who was also burned at the same time,is attending her daughter in Memphis. --Mr.H.O.EASON,of Brownsville,successfully underwent emergency operation at the hospital in that city Wednesday of last week.Mrs.EASON is the former Miss Florence McDOW,of this city.

FORMER RESIDENT DIES--News has reached friends and relatives in Covington and Tipton County,of the recent death of K.C.BELL,who was born and reared in the Sunnyside vicinity.Mr.BELL died Friday,January 15th,at Tuscon,Ariz.,in which city he had made his home for the past 5 years.Mrs.BELL,the former Miss Maggie McCLUNEY,is a cousin of Mrs.J.O.HADLEY,of this city.Two sons,several brothers and one sister survives.

HEART DISEASE IS FATAL TO MEMPHIAN--William D.KYSER,of Memphis,prominent attorney,civic leader and utilities head succumbed to heart failure at his home Monday morning.C.C.SWOOPE,connected with the Covington office of the Utilities Company,is a brother-in-law of Mr.KYSER.His wife and one daughter survive.

TIPTON NOTES--Mr.& Mrs.Chester RULEMAN are the proud parents of a baby boy.

-RANDOLPH NEWS--This community was shocked Wednesday,January 27th,to learn of the death of Mrs.Florence Griggs MORGAN,wife of Sidney MORGAN,of near Munford.Funeral services were held in the Randolph Methodist Church on Thursday morning,being conducted by Rev.T.E.COOLEY,pastor of the Methodist at Randolph.Interment occurred at the latter place.

REV.JOYNER BURIED AT TROY TUESDAY--Rev.J.W.JOYNER,former circuit preacher on the Covington Methodist Circuit,and at other Tipton County Churches,died at his home in Troy Sunday morning.He had been superannuated by the Memphis Conference and had not actively engaged in the ministry for several years.During his various pastorates in Tipton County,Rev.JOYNER made many friends and was highly regarded throughout the extent of the Conference.W.L.BROWN,of Covington,an honorary pallbearer,accompanied by Mrs.BROWN and Mrs.Will Rodney ATKINS,attended the funeral,which was conducted by Rev.W.Q.SCRUGGS,assisted by Revs.F.B.JONES; W.B.RALPH; W.F.COOLEY; L.R.NEIL; O.C.RATHER,Syl FISHER& J.T.BAGBY.Rev.JOYNER,a son of the late W.H.& Mary E.JOYNER,was born July 8,1868 in Tipton County.On November 1,1888,he was married to Miss Minnie Lois EASLEY and to this union nine children were born.Mrs.JOYNER died June 14,1923.Rev.JOYNER married again on November 18,1928 to Loula Magnolia COLEMAN,who survives him.He was admitted to the Memphis Conference in Nov.1893. Surviving Rev.JOYNER are his widow and the following children: Mrs.R.S.CALDWELL.of Troy, Mrs.B.F.BOYDSTON,of Water Valley,Miss.; Mrs.J.W.WELLS,of Brighton; Mrs.Giles FORBES,of Wilmer,Calif.; A.J.JOYNER of Huntington,W.VA.; John B.JOYNER,of El Paso,Texas; robert JOYNER,of Tipton; James JOYNER,of Taylor,Miss.,and Mrs.TATE.

MRS.JOSEPHINE WALKER DIED LAST FRIDAY--Mrs.Josephine B.WALKER died at her home in Covington Friday evening,January 29th,following a brief illness.Although in enfeebled health,her death was a great shock to her loved ones and friends.Funeral services were held at the residence Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock,being conducted by Rev.E.H.HUTCHISON,pastor of Central Christian Church,assisted by Rev.E.W.CRUMP,pastor of the First Methodist Church.The large number of friends present for the services and the lovely floral offerings attested to the extremely high regard in which Mrs.WALKER was held.Interment occurred in Munford Cemetery.Mrs.WALKER was born in Memphis,but later moved to Miss.,where she received her education and later taught school.She was married to J.L.WALKER at Ripley,Miss.,at the age of 18 years,to this union eight children being born.Her husband and six children preceded her to the grave.After she first became a widow,Mrs.WALKER cared for her eight children and many more,who were taken into her home and nutured by her loving hands.Mrs.WALKER became a member of the church in her early teens and although unable to attend church services,she was keenly interested in all of its activities,remaining consistantly Christian until the end.Friends say that she was never found without an open Bible before her.This superior woman was active and alert in mind and spent much of her time in writing.Her short stories often appeared in newspapers and magazines.She had just completed a story on the day before her death.She had lived in Tennessee for a number of years,being a resident of Bells and Alamo,before coming to Covingtom 20 years ago.Survivors are two daughters,Mrs.W.H.BAILEY and Miss Fannie WALKER; four grandchildren,Mrs.R.B.WILLIAMS,of this city;Mrs.Guy UNDERWOOD,of Milan;Miss Elizabeth WALKER,of Bells;and Walker BAILEY,of Lucy; a brother,Hon.C.E.JERMAN,of Alamo;and one sister,Mrs.Ellie O’NEAL,of Hope,Ark.

WALNUT GROVE NOTES--BORN to Mr.& mrs.L.LUTTRELL,recently,a son.

DIED AT MUDVILLE MONDAY--Mrs.Amanda Jane McCREIGHT,89 years,resident of the Mudville community,her entire life,died at her home early Monday morning.She had been a lifelong worker of the Pleasant Union Cumberland Presbyterian Church,of which she had been a member for 50 years.She is survived by her daughter,Mrs.J.N.MILLER; seven grandchildren,John Will McCREIGHT, Roger Pete McCREIGHT,Alex McCREIGHT, Woodrow McCREIGHT and Virginia McCREIGHT,all of Rosemark; Mrs.R.L.WILLIAMS,of Brunwick; Francis McCREIGHT,of El Paso,Texas; and two great-grandchildren,Billy and Alice WILLIAMS.Funeral services were held at Pleasant Union Presbyterian Church,at 11 o’clock Tuesday morning,February 2nd.

DICKSON & HARSSON--Surprising a large circle of friends,Dr.B.V.DICKSON and Mrs.Carrie HARSSON were quietly married at the residence of Mr.& Mrs.R.M.ROBINSON Wednesday afternoon at 5 o’clock.Only members of the immediate family were present as the ceremony was said by Rev.A.B.LOVE.
