Thomas and Charlotte had 9 children.
2nd wife Matilda H. WALKER m. 25 July 1830 Sumner Co TN
Thomas and Matilda had 4 children. Widow Matilda Walker Stone married 2 8 May 1844 to
James M. Wilson in Sumner Co TN.
Abstract of Sumner Co TN will of Thomas Stone
Codicil added 5 July 1841 (Aug term 1841 court), recorded Sumner Co TN. I am abstracting from a very poor photocopy taken from microfilm roll "Sumner Co TN will 1789-1904.
to my beloved wife Matilda H. Stone...
after her death to be equally divided between my children the child heirs of her body...
my oldest Granville Stone... (already got $100)
my daughter Fanny Thrower...(already got $50)
my son Thomas Stone... (already got $50)
"the following named children have not received any part of my estate":
Sidney Jiles, Samuel Stone, Robert Stone, Moranda Shaver, James Stone, and Matilda Stone my
daughter. (all 8 are to get part of estate to equal $100 already received by Granville)

I owe State Bank at Nashville $500 and to Francis Youree $100 (to be paid with $200 from sale
of tract of land in "the Western District", my (sugar??) mare Jeny; if property not sufficient. (If
this not sufficient to pay debts, Executors use discretion in setting aside part of my tract of land
whereon I now live, taken off west northerly corner or west easterly corner... if this won't pay
debts, wife Matilda H Stone to have only 1 tract of land.

Some money expected of estate of my brother Edward Stone to be "equally divided between all
my children old and young"... my son James Stone about to acquire $8... to be considered out of
his part of the estate...
