In the name of God Amen
I Thomas Blakemore now of sound mind and disposing memory, knowing the uncertainty of life and that it is appointed for all men once to die do make this my last will & testament in manner following, Viz,

Item. It is my will that all my just debts be paid in manner herein after mentioned.

Item. It is my will that the tract of land whereon I now live be equally divided by running a line from East to West. Giving to my son Albert G. Blakemore that half which will include the dwelling house and the other half to my son George W. Blakemore to them & their heirs forever.

Item. I also give to my son Albert G. all my stock of every description not otherwise disposed of. all the crop of every description now on hand, my Clock, Cupbord, all my Kitchen furniture, one half of my farming utencils, all my interest in a wagon & pair of oxen. One Negro man Lewis, one Negro girl Caroline. One Bed of furniture and one Desk & Book Case to him & his heirs forever.

Item. I give to my son George W in addition to the land above named one young bay mare, one bed and furniture & one half of my farming utencils to him & his heirs forever.

Item. I give to my Sena Black one negroe woman Nancy to her & her heirs forever.

Item. I give to my daughter Matilda Hart one negroe woman Lethe during her natural life and at her decease to belong to my two sons Wesley & George W. Jointly them & their heirs forever.

Item. I also give to my son Wesley one negroe man Willis to him & his heirs for ever.

Item. I give to my son Rueben M. one sorrel horse Colt ( of Figuro)

Item. I give to my son Fielding N. my riding mare Eveline.

Item. I give to my son Lee C one bay mare Figuro

To my other four children all that in strict justice & consistent with my ability. I can give them after what I have heretofore given & paid for them, which is as follows.

To my son James two Dollars
to my Daughter Elizabeth Dickanson two Dollars
to my son Edward two Dollars

Item. I give to my Grand daughter Sarah A.Taylor one young sorrel mare, To each of my Grand daughters Eliza P Taylor. & Martha A Taylor I give one Bed & furniture.
I give to my Grand daughter Sena E Taylor my Bureaw
I give to my Grand daughter Sarah E Blakemore one bed & furniture

It is further my will that my son Albert G. individually pay all my debts and lastly I appoint my three sons, Wesley, George W. & Albert G. Blakemore my executors to this my last will & Testament hereby revoking all other wills heretofore made by me & do hereby _____ this to be my only last will and Testament.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this 21th day of January 1831

Sumner County Court August Term 1832
The last will & testament of Thos Blakemore decd was exhibited in open court & duly proved agreeable to law by the oath of John Shaw & William E Baird two of the subscribing witnesses thereto & ordered to be recorded and thereupon Albert G Blakemore one of the executors therein named appeared in court & together with John Black Wesley Blakemore & Fielding N Blakemore his securities entered into & acknowledged their bond to the Governor in the sum of five thousand dollars, conditioned as the law directs & took the oath of executor prescribed by law. Wesley Blakemore one of the other executors named in said will also appeared in court & renounced.
