I, R. C. Parker of the County of Sumner and state of Tennessee being in feeble health but of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and Testament.

First; I direct that all my debts and funeral expenses be paid out of any monies on hand at the time of my death, or may first come to the hands of my Executrix herein after to be mentioned. I wish these liabilities to be discharged out of my personal estate, if sufficient for that purpose, if not, then out of the proceeds of such of real estate as my Executrix shall deem best for that purpose.

Second; I give and devise to my wife Martha > Parker all the balance or remainder of my estate both real and personal of every description whatever, during her natural life, with remainder over to my children and grand children, Viz; W. R. Parker, Joel P. Parker, R. M. Parker, Lucinda E. Sarver, Geo. W. Parker, and Elizabeth C. Parker being my living children, and to the following Grand Children, Viz; Mattie J. Gray and John Green, children of my deceased daughter, Mary E. Green. Mattie J. Lewis the only child of my deceased daughter Susan C. Charles Winn, Pattie Winn, Callie Winn and Virginia Winn. Children of my deceased daughter Lucinda S. Winn, the said grand children representing their parents. And taking such share as their parent would take if living. In the division of said remainder at the death of my wife. I wish for my children [pg 304] and grand children to account for all advancements made them or their parent by me according to the account I have made of the same.

Third; I hereby appoint my wife Martha M. Parker my Executrix, not requiring of her either bond or security, for and on account of her managing and taking care of my estate.

State of Tennessee
Sumner County Court February Term 1885

The last will and Testament of R. C. Parker dec'd, was this day presented in open Court for probate, and was duly proven by the oaths of J. F. White and W. S. Munday subscribing witnesses thereto, which is received by the Court, and ordered to be recorded. Martha M. Parker the Executrix appointed in the Will was duly qualified, no bond and security being required of her, by the terms of said Will. It is ordered that the Clerk of this Court will issue to her letters of Executorship.
