In the name of God Amen:
I Owen Dillard being weak in body but in perfect mind and memory calling to mind the mortality
of the body . . . my last will and testament . . .

First of all I recommend my soul to God that ave it my body to be buried in a Christian like
manner at the discretion of my executors so to my property that God has blessed me with My will
is that it be disposed of in the following manner.
Viz
I lend to my beloved wife Polly all my property . . . my land and plantation. My negroes Judah,
Will, Abb, _?, and Judah Jr., stock of horses, cattle, hogs, sheep, with all my household goods and
plantation tools. In the case of my four sons John Dillard, Gabriel Dillard, Willis Dillard and Al--?
(this appears to be either Alex or Allan) Dillard . . . and at her death or marriage for all my
property to be sold and the money owing from such sales to be divided equally between my fours
sons . . . and settling? _? children Lucia White, John White and _? (Owen?) White to receive an
