I, Melissa H. Brigance do make and publish this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other wills by me at any time made.
First. I direct that all of my just debts together with my funeral expenses be paid out of any money that I may die possessed of or that may first come into the hands of my executor.
Second, I give and bequeath to my brother A. G. Brigance and to his seven children, Henrietta J.
Brigance, Sallie H. Duke, R. M. Brigance, J. A. Brigance, A. M. Brigance, R.A. Brigance and J.
F. Brigance the remainder of my possessions, all of which consists of personal property, to be
equally divided between the said A.G. Brigance and all of his aforesaid children. And lastly I do
appoint the A.G. Brigance, A.M. Brigance or R.A. Brigance either one of them to execute the
aforesaid will, in testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name.

A paper writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Melissa H. Brigance
deceased was this day produced in open Court for probate, and there being no contest, the same
was duly proven by the oaths of C.M. Sutton one of the subscribing witnesses thereto when the
same was ordered recorded as the last Will of Melissa H. Brigance deceased.
