children. You may need to obtain the probate records for more information.
In the name of God Amen:
I John H. Bowen of the Town of Gallatin and State of Tennessee . . . do make and ordain this my
last will and testament . . . I will that my real and personal estate to equally divided between my
wife and children . . . I appoint my brother Samuel A. Bowen and William L. Alexander
Executors. In witness where of I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 18th September 1822.
