I, James M. Hunter, being of sound mind and perfect memory think proper to make this my last will & testament in manner & form as follows.

In the first place I will that all my just debts together with my funeral expense be paid out of any monies that I may die possessed of or that may come into the hands of my executor.

Item 2nd.; I will that my wife Elizabeth A. Hunter remain in possession of my real estate during her natural life. I heretofore given to my two sons each one, land worth two hundred and twenty five dollars, I will that my two daughters each one have the sum of two hundred & twenty five dollars in order that they may be made equal with their brothers; then I will that all my children have equal shares in the balance of my property both real and personal.

The last Will and testament of J. M. Hunter, deceased: was this day presented in open Court for probate and was duly proven by the oaths of R. A. Durham one of the subscribing witnesses thereto which is approved by the Court and ordered to be recorded.
