I Green B. Harris being in the seventy second year of my age feeling the infirmity of old age
coming on me do make and write this my last Will and Testament.
I will to my Wife Mary G.
Harris, her life time my Mitchener farm my Mill track and Mills all my farming tools all tools
about the Mills all my stock of horses mules Cattle hogs house and Furnature(sic). The Farm
(Farm written as Tarm) and Mills she is to manage as she thinks best and to use the proceeds as
she sees proper. The perishable property she is authorised(sic) to sell privately and to pay my
debts Burial expenses, and the Ballance(sic) left to use as she sees proper at my wife death I
authorise(sic) my wife to give off the children all the House Furnature(sic), at my wife Death I
appoint my sons Overton John and Russell Harris my Executors to carry my will out. I will that
they take possession of all my Real and Personal Estate and Sell my land and Mills by dividing it
up or by Selling the Mitchener track and Mills separately and on sutch(sic) time as they may think
best publickly(sic) and all my Perishable Property - and after my children is made equal in all the
items charged against them (pg 216) in a small purple back account Book. They to divide the
remainder equally among all my children. I have allways(sic) Endeavored to equal justice by all
my children. I forbid that any charge for Board should charged against Malvina or her children
against Rupel. I marked out the char?? against Tyree for Suse a Black girl and Marge against
Mary Jane for the reason that the rite was in me they had not had them long a __? to give them
any wright(sic) whatever. Mary Janes children is her Heirs and representatives, I will my
Executors reserve two hundred Dollars for the purpose of putting Iron railing around __? grave
and a Plain head and foot stone.
I set my hand seal this the 25 day of March 1879.

The last Will and Testament of Green B. Harris, deceased dated 18 day of March 1879, was this
day presented in open Court for probate, and was was(no mistake) duly proven by the oaths of J.
D. Turner and R. Y. Winn subscribing witnesses thereto which was received by the Court, and
ordered to be recorded.
