In the name of God Amen. I FRANCES MEADOR of SUMNER COUNTY, STATE of TENNESSEE, being very weak of body but of disposing mind and memory do make this my last will and Testament in manner and form as follows.

Item the first, it is my desire that when I die, I may be decently buried by the side of my departed husband.

Item the second. It is my will and desire that when I am dead, my Negro man GRANDISON and all my stock of every kind, my household and kitchen furniture, and everything else that I may be possessed of (excepted my wearing clothes) be gathered together and sold on such terms as my Executor may think proper, and after paying all my just debts and funeral expenses, the moneys arising from the sale of my property and the moneys that may be owing to me when collected shall be equally divided among all my own children that may be living at the time of my death and no others, and my wearing clothes to be equally divided among my daughters and sons' wives in such manner as may suit themselves.

Item the third. I hereby constitute and appoint my son JOSEPH G. and JESSE MEADOR the Executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 23 day of October 1850.
