The last Will and testament of Mrs. Fannie Summers.
I, Mrs. Fannie Summers, do make and publish this as my last will and testament hereby revoking all wills by me heretofore made.
First; It is my will that all my just debts be paid.
Second; I will and bequeath unto my Nephew, John Montgomery and his wife my home place on the Dobbin's Pike, known as the Captain Summers place, during their natural lives and to their children in being and to be hereafter born if any, for their use and benefit at the death of their parents forever. This land is to for the benefit of the children of John Montgomery begotten upon the body of his present wife and I give the life estate to him and his wife therein only for the purpose of enabling the property to be cheaply managed until the death of the parents and it is my will and desire and I also direct that John Montgomery and wife shall not have the power to dispose of their life estate in this land by deed or otherwise and the same is to be free from the debts, contracts, and liabilities of John Montgomery.
Third; I hereby nominate and appoint, W. N. Montgomery my executor to this my last will and
testament.

Sumner County Court March Term 1885.
The last Will [pg. 306] and testament of Mrs. Fannie Summers deceased, was this day presented
in
open Court for probate, & was duly proven by the oaths of W. B. Swaney, and H. A. Schell,
subscribing witnesses thereto which is received by the Court and ordered to be recorded.
Thereupon W. N. Montgomery, the Executor, named in the Will, appeared in open Court and accepted the same, and together with his surcties.(sic) James Franklin, and W. B. Swaney entered into and acknowledged their bond to the State of Tennessee in the penal sum of Five Hundred Dollars, conditioned as the law requires, and said W. N. Montgomery, as Executor aforesaid, was duly qualified. And the Clerk of this Court will issue to said W. N. Montgomery, Letters of Executorship.
