In the name of God Amen:
I Samuel Hart of the County of Sumner and State of Tennessee, being in bad health but of sound
disposing mind knowing the certainty of death, and the uncertainty of the time if may happen
I make this my last will and Testament viz.
I will and bequeath to my three brothers, William H. Hart, Cyrus Hart and Winslow Hart all the money coming to me from my fathers estate of money and bonds. I also will and bequeath to my the above named brothers all the money coming to me from the sale of _ lands agreeable to my fathers will. I also give and bequeath to my then named Brothers my part of the four negro boys left us by my mother - all the above named property to be equally divided between them. I will and bequeath to my sister Cynthia Hart my negro woman Lucy and her child Rhoda and she is to have choice of four cows and calves out of my stock of cattle and all my part of the sheep left me by my mother. I will and bequeath to my sister Polly P. Lauderdale my plantation and all my property of ever description, not otherwise named and appropriated in this will. I appoint my brother-in-law William Lauderdale and William L. Alexander Executors to this will.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto my hand and affixed my sale this 29 day of August 1822.
