Appears on Page 233 of Army Roll in General Land Office. 4 Feb 1842 - Appointed Notary Public for Sabine Co. by President Houston. 1843 Postmaster at Milam, Sabine County, TX Served as Colonel under General Jackson and distingished himself during the Creek War. Member of First Congress of the Republic of Texas in 1836.
