Watson "Watty" GOOSTREE (son of Absalom GOOSTREE and Mary "Polly" GRANGER) was a minor orphan in 1809 Sumner Co. TN. The court appointed Jesse Skeen his guardian . In the March 1810 Sumner Co. Court Minutes it says: Appoint Edward Gwin and Joshua Rice esqrs to settle with Jesse Skeen and Stephen Trible guardians of Watson and Elizabeth Goostree and make report to next court.

KY married 1st on 29 Aug 1812 in Sumner Co TN to Elizabeth MCGLOTHLIN (daughter of Joseph MCGLOTHLIN and Agnes DINNING/DINNEN) b 1794 TN, d bef 1846. Married 2nd on 6 June 1846 in Sumner Co. TN to Martha MITCHELL b. 1818 in KY, possibly died in Kansas.
