1. Gene Roberts (no information available). He is buried beside his brother, John Walter, in the Halltown Cemtery in Sumner County. All the marker states is his name.
2. James H. Roberts born around 1870.
3. Jane L. Roberts born around 1874.
4. Alice M. Roberts born around 1876.
5. John Walter Roberts born on January 19, 1877. He married Minnie Mae Hester in 1901. He died on November 25, 1924. They are buried in the Halltown Cemetery in Sumner Co.,Tn.
6. Doyl D. Roberts born on October 12, 1880.
7. Richard Roberts born August 22, 1881. He married Nancy ? who was born on October 21, 1890. He died on December 12, 1950 and she on July 12, 1941. They are buried in the Halltown Cemetery in Sumner Co., Tn.

John Walter Roberts (son of William D. Roberts and ? Bruce) was born on January 19, 1877. He married Minnie Mae Hester in 1901. She is the daughter of Fountain E. Hester and Sallie L. (Graves) Hester (for more information see the Hester Family.)

Minnie was born onJanuary 14, 1887. John Walter died on November 25, 1924 and Minnie on January 19, 1974. They are buried beside each other at the Halltown Cemetery in Sumner Co., Tn.

John Walter Roberts and Minnie Mae Hester had ten children:

1. Grover Taylor Roberts born on July 7, 1903. He married Erma Fossett. He died on June 17, 1981. He is buried in Indianapolis, Indiana.
2. Maybelle Roberts born on March 10, 1905. She married Jaby Denning Summers on April 28,1917. He was born on August 10, 1898. After their children were grown they divorced and he married Betty Draper and she married Tom Street. They both divorced their second spouses and Maybelle and Jaby remarried on May 6, 1967. Maybelle and Jaby had five children. Maybelle died on November 10, 1987 and Jaby on February 19, 1972. They are buried in the Jake Link Cemetery in the Clearview Community of Sumner Co., Tn.
3. Lora Lena Roberts born on April 16, 1907. She married William Long. She died on October 18, 1990. She is buried in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Portland, Sumner Co., Tn.
4. Homer Glen Roberts was born on June 13, 1908. He married Dovie Street. He is buried in the Hardin Cemetery in Sumner Co., Tn. He died on June 30, 1992.
5. James Allison Roberts was born on September 13, 1911. He died on September 26, 1912. He is buried beside his parents at the Halltown Cemetery in Sumner Co., Tn.
6. William Edward Roberts was born on January 26, 1913. He was married to Hassie Mayes. He died in a motorcycle accident in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 24, 1945. He is buried in Indianapolis.
7. Alma Estell Roberts was born on May 5, 1915. She was married to Virgil Callis. She died on April 3, 1981. She is buried in the Springfield Cemetery in Springfield, Robertson Co., Tn.
8. Aubrey Venters Roberts was born on September 26, 1918. He was married to Annie Callis. He died on November 10, 1993. He is buried in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.
9. Joseph Wardell Roberts was born on June 12, 1919. His wife was Faye ? He served in WWII and was killed in action in France on December 25, 1944. He is buried in the American soldier cemetery in Normandy, France.
10. Mamie Lee Roberts was born on January 5, 1923. She was married to James Bean. She died on May 25, 1998.

These ten children also had two half brothers from the second marriage of their mother, Minnie Mae Hester Roberts, to Marshall Wilson.
