Generation Two:
David Looney b. ca 1735 in Orange Co., VA. Married about 1755 in Bedford Co., VA to Margaret Mary McClelland b. ca 1736.

Generation Three:
Robert Looney b. ca 1762 d. ca. 21 Sept 1840 in Lauderdale Co., AL. Married Rebecca Kyle bef 25 Jan 1838 in Maury Co., TN.

Note: Rebecca was most likely Robert's second wife; she was much younger than he. I believe although not confirmed at this point, that Rebecca was the daughter of Joseph Kyle and wife Catherine from Green County, OH. In 1805 Robert purchased lands from Joseph Kyle.

Generation Four:
David Reasons Looney b. 13 January 1799 in Gallatin, Sumner Co., TN d. 1878. Buried in New Salem Cemetery in Honey Grove, Fannin Co., TX. He married 16 Sept 1858 in Pontotoc Co., MS to Mary Ann Fowler b. 1834 in GA. D. 9 Mar 1886. She is buried in the New Salem Cemetery at Honey Grove, Fannin Co., TX.

Note: Mary Ann Fowler was David's second wife. She was the daughter of Miles Wilburn Fowler and Amanda Arnold, and due to the age difference, her parents were very much opposed to the marriage. No information available regarding David's first wife, Mary ____. This union produced two children, a boy, James Looney, and a daughter.

Generation Five:
Ida Ethlyn Looney b. 23 Aug 1859 in Okolona, Chickasaw Co., MS d. 1 May 1952 in Siloam Springs, Benton Co., AR. She is buried in the New Salem Cemetery in Honey Grove, Fannin Co., TX. On 19 Jul 1879 in Bonham, Fannin Co., TX, she married Rev. Thomas Daniel Ayers. He was b. 25 Jul 1861 in Marianna, Lee Co., AR, d. 15 Feb 1934 in Siloam Springs, Benton Co., AR. He is also buried in the New Salem Cemetery in Honey Grove, Fannin Co., TX.

Generation Six:
William Benton Ayers b. 28 Feb 1886 in Honey Grove, Fannin Co., TX d. 14 Mar 1961 in San Antonio, Bexar Co., TX. He is buried in the Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring, Howard Co,. TX. He married on 23 Aug 1905 in Paris, Lamar Co., TX Dessie Bell Byron. She was b. 18 Aug 1888 in Aubrey, TX d. 21 Dec 1976 in Big Spring, Howard Co., TX. She, too, is buried in the Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring, Howard Co., TX.

Generation Seven:
Thomas Allen Ayers b. 29 Nov 1907 in Hugo, Choctaw Co., OK d. 31 Dec 1954 in Miami, Ottowa Co., OK. She is buried in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Ector Co., TX. On 16 Sept 1928 in Siloam Springs, Benton Co., AR, he married Addie Beatrice Seabolt. She was b. 10 June 1909 in Quinton, Haskell Co., OK and d. 20 Jan 1995 in Houston, Harris Co., TX. She is also buried in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Ector Co., TX.

Note: Mother and Daddy were wed by his grandfather, Rev. Thomas Daniel Ayers at Daddy's Aunt Minnie Ola Ayers McGee's home at 401 East Jefferson in Siloam Springs.
