Jeremiah Sarver, born abt. 1806 in Giles Co. VA, was the son of Samuel and Mary (Rowe) Sarver. Jeremiah died on Apr.12, 1881 in Sumner Co.TN. He married Juliette Tiller born 1808 in VA. She was the daughter of William and Rebecca (Clay) Tiller. Juliette died before 1860 in Sumner Co. TN. Jeremiah and Juliette married Jan. 29, 1825 in Giles Co. VA.

1. Ellen Sarver born abt.1824.

2. Delilah Sarver born abt. 1826. Died Jan. 3,1891 in IL. She married Buchanon Brackin on October 14,1847 in Sumner Co.TN.

3. Rhoda Sarver born abt. 1829. She married William H. Briggs on Dec.21, 1845 in Sumner Co.TN.

4. Ardelia Sarver born abt. 1832. She married John Shanklin Aug. 2, 1861 in Sumner Co. TN.

5. Louisa E. Sarver (my line) born abt. 1834. She married John Jack Perdue on May 16, 1854 in Sumner Co.TN. She died Oct. 1879. They had 14 children including my great-grandfather, George Anderson Perdue (1865-1942) Sumner County TN. He married Flora Lavada Brown (daughter of Robert Cantrell and Matilda (Pearson) Brown) on Dec. 27, 1888 in Sumner Co. TN. They had 8 children including my paternal grandmother Birdie Elizabeth (Perdue) Read. Birdie married Oliver Witham "Ollie" Read (son of of William Oliver Read, "O. W. Reed" and Mary Jane (Hunter) born Feb.1858? Sumner Co.TN died abt. 1933?. Mary Jane (Hunter) Read Biggs died at the home of my grandparents Ollie and Birdie (Perdue) Read. Mary Jane (Hunter) Read Biggs had 1st m. Thomas Inman Summers but was divorced and her maiden name of Hunter restored according to Sumner Co. TN Court Records. She then married O. Read in 1879. She 3rd m. Sanford Lafayette "Fate" Biggs in 1925 and he died in 1927. She is said to be buried at Corinth Cem. in an unmarked grave near my Perdue relatives. Birdie and Ollie Read married in 1920 in Mitchellville, Sumner Co.and they left TN for Indianapolis. They had 2 children: Clifton Richard Read, my dad (1922-1989 Indianapolis) and Bernice Elizabeth Read (1926-1937 Indianapolis). Clifton married Clara Elizabeth Kalus b. 1926 Germany and had 4 children. I'm the oldest dau.Linda Bernice (Read).

7. Priscilla Sarver born abt. 1838. She married William A. Allen (b. 1838 Giles Co. VA) on Jan.19, 1871 Sumner Co. TN.

8. Electra Sarver born abt. 1840.

9. Jeremiah Alfred Sarver born May 1842.

10. Julia Sarver born abt. 1848. She died in 1929 in Sumner Co. TN. Married W. Joshua Davis.

11. Martha Sarver born May 1850. She married on Nov. 15, 1869 to E. B. Jones in Sumner Co. TN.

12. William "Bud" Sarver born abt. 1852. He died in 1868 in Athens, GA.
