3. George W. Guthrie b. 26 Aug 1842 Sumner Co. TN, died 22 June 1864 "killed at Maryetta, Georgia."
4. John M. Guthrie b. 2 June 1844 Sumner Co. TN. Married in Sumner Co. TN on 17 Dec. 1867 to Almyra Teresa HOGIN (1843-1914). John M. Guthrie served in Co. C. 9th TN Cav. CSA. Wounded in left wrist, bone shattered at Cynthiana, Ky 18 June 1864, captured at Flemingsburg, Ky same day. Sent to Camp Morton, Ind. Paroled 10 May 1865. Married Theresa HOGIN. She is buried at Beech Presby. Church. Son, Alex L. Guthrie
5. Mary Ann Guthrie b. 30 Nov 1845 Sumner Co. TN. Living with parents in the 1880 Census, unmarried.
6. Robert T. Guthrie b. 19 Aug 1847 Sumner Co. TN. Married 1st on 24 Sept 1868 in Sumner Co. TN to Mary J. WISE. Married 2nd on 8 Feb 1874 to Elizabeth BARNARD.
7. Louisa Tennessee Guthrie b. 12 Feb 1849 Sumner Co. TN. Married on 17 Dec 1868 to George BARRETT. They had 5 children, William b. 1870, John B. b. 1872 (in 1950 he lived in Lebanon, TN and permitted me to copy from his Bible), Thomas M. b. 1874, Robert F. b. 1877, and Edward M. b. 1878.
8. Emma A. Guthrie b. 4 Apr 1851 Sumner Co. TN, died 4 Aug 1939 Sumner Co. TN. Buried Walnut Grove Church, near White House, TN. Married on 25 Oct 1877 in Sumner Co. TN to Miles H. WHITE. They were live long members of Walnut Grove Church. Miles born 12 Dec. 1852, died 30 Oct 1923. There children, Enola Blanche (1883-1938) who married John POND, Lucian M. (1887-1922), Bertie who never married.
