This Indenture made this twenty ninth day of may one thousand seven Hundred and ninety nine
between John Blackemore of the County of Davidson and State of Tennessee of the one part, and
Thomas Blackemore of Sumner and State aforesaid Witnesseth that the said John for the Love
and esteem he bares his son the said Thomas Hath given granted Conveyed and Confirmed and
by these presents Doth give grant convey and Confirm unto the said Thomas, a Certain tract or
parcel of land, lying in Sumner County on Rockey Creek containing three Hundred and twenty
Acres being part of a tract originally Granted to said John by patent baring Date the 7th day of
November 1791, which tract of three Hundred and twenty Acres, is bounded as follows
Beginning at two white oaks the Beginning corner of the original Survey thence East two
Hundred & forty poles to a Hickory and beach then South two Hundred and nine poles to a
Hickory then West two Hundred and forty poles with the Dividing line between said blackemore
and James Rankin, to a Hickory and elm corner to Said rankin thence north two Hundred and nine
poles to the Beginning together with all the appertanances thereunto belonging. To Have and to
Hold the said tract of land with its appurtenances unto the said Thomas Blackemore his heirs and
assignes and the said John Doth for himself his heirs Executors Administerators the said Assignes
against the claim or claimes of all and every person or persons warrant and forever Defend In
Witness whereof he the John Blackemore hath hereunto subscribed his name and affixed his seal
the day and year first above written
