This Indenture mad this twelfth day of March in the Year of Our Lord One thousand eight
hundred and ten between John Young of Robertson County and State of Tennessee of the One
part & James Roney of the County of Sumner and State Aforesaid of the Other part, Witnesseth
that the Aforesaid Young for and in Consideration of the Sum of One thousand dollars to him in
hand paid by the said Roney before the signing and Sealing thereof the receipt thereof is hereby
Acknowledged have Granted bargained sold and conveyed & by these presents do Grant bargain
Sell And Convey to the said Roney his heirs or Assigns forever a Certain tract or parcel of land
situate lying and being in the County of Sumner Aforesaid and in the first District on the Waters
of the Wolf branch and as follows Viz. Beginning at a Spanish oak north east corner of the six
hundred and forty acres and running from thence South one hundred and ninety three poles to a
White oak from thence West fifty poles to a black oak from thence North fifty degrees West forty
five poles to a hickory from thence South thirty seven degrees West sixty five poles to two post
oaks, from thence West One hundred and fifty four poles to a post oak, from thence North two
hundred and twelve and one half poles to a hickory and large black oak, from thence East sixty
poles to a stake on Bowmans line from thence South four poles to a post oak Bowmans South
West Corner form thence East with Bowmans line two hundred and four poles to the Beginning,
Containing three hundred and twenty seven acres be the same more or less to have and to hold
the above described tract or parcel of land with all and singular privileges hereditaments and
appurtenances to the same belonging or in any other wise appertaining to the said Roney his heirs
and assigns to the only use behoof of the said Roney his heirs and assigns forever against the
legal title claim or demands against the said Young his heirs and assigns or any other person or
persons do and will Warrant and defend forever by these presents. In Witness Whereof I the said
John Young have hereunto set my hand & Seal the day and date above written.

The Within deed of bargain & sale between John Young of the One part & James Roney of the
Other part for 327 acres of land was duly acknowledged in Open Curt by the bargainor &
Ordered to be Registered.
