In Pursuance of a bond Executed by us to Stephen H. Turner as Executor of James Roney decd on the 27th day of January 1845 for the tract of land that the said James Roney decd possessed at the time of his death and sold in pursuance of his last Will, We this day proceed to make a Deed to said land to the Executrix of the said Stephen H. Turner decd. We do hereby transfer and convey to Elizabeth Turner Executrix of the said Stephen H. Turner decd and his heirs forever for the consideration of Thirty seven hundred & fifty seven dollars 57 cents to us paid a tract of land in the State of Tennessee Sumner & Robertson Counties in District No.18 in Sumner No.1 and 11 in Robertson, containing by estimation four hundred and thirty acres be the same more of less bounded as follows: Beginning on a large white oak on the West side of the Creek on Young's line and a corner of A. Young's tract, running thence 89 West with a marked line 106 poles to a white oak marked AY, thence South 247 poles to a stake with a white oak & post oak pointers Dobbins line, thence South 89 East with a marked line 90 poles to a stake with two pointers in an old line thence South 38 poles to a post oak thence East 116 poles to a post oak marked East & South sides, thence North with a marked line 118 poles to a white oak thence North 45 East 110 poles to a Sycamore on the East side of the Creek, thence North 85 West 8 poles to a stake thence South 33 ½ West 6 poles to a Sycamore, thence North 60 West 16 poles to a stake thence North 35 West 10 poles to a stake thence North 20 East 9 poles to a chinquapin oak thence North 30 ½ West 9 poles to a stake thence West 12 poles to a stake thence North 38 West 11 poles to two hornbeans thence North 69 East 16 poles to a black oak thence North 26 West 17 ½ poles to a small hickory, thence North 10 West 100 poles to a stake in Morgan's line and corner to Benjamin Roney, thence North 89 50' 58 poles to a stake with pointers thence South 44 West with a marked line crossing the Turnpike and Creek 91 poles to the beginning, To have and to hold with the exception of the part that the Turnpike is located on and thirty yards square including the grave yard and wall that surrounds the same with the right of a Road to and from at all times when necessary, the same to the said Elizabeth Turner Exx her heris and assigns forever. We do covenant with the said Elizabeth Turner Executrix that we are lawfully seized of said land have a good right to convey it, the same is unencumbered and do further covenant & bind ourselves our heirs representatives to warrant & forever defend the title to the said land & every part thereof to the said Elizabeth Turner Exx her heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all person whatsoever. Given under our hand & seal this 19th day of May 1849.

Personally appeared before me Wm S. Munday Clerk of the County Court of said County Major W. Mitchell and James L. Jones subscribing witnesses to the forgoing Deed who being first sworn depose and say that they are personally acquainted with Benjamin Roney & James M. Roney Executors & the bargainers and that they acknowledged the Execution of the same in their presence to be their act and deed upon the day it bers date and for the purposed therein contained. Witness my hand at Office this 20th day of February 1850.
