I, A. E. Stark, have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey to John H.
Stark and his heirs and assigns forever for the consideration nine hundred dollars ($900.00) to me
paid for a lot of land it being the one fifth undivided interest in ninety three acres heired from my
father William Stark, Dec., also one third undivided interest in thirty acres heired from my
mother Fanny Stark lying in 5th civil district Sumner County, Tenn. About twenty eight and three
fifths acres all bounded as follows: W by Wright, E by Sanders, S by Sanders, W by Calender
and Drake's Creek to have and to hold the same to the said John H. Stark by his heirs and assigns
forever. I A. E. Stark do further covenant with the said John H. Stark that I am lawfully seized of
said land and have a good right to convey it and that the same is unencumbered and do bind
myself, heirs and representatives to warrant and forever defend the title to said land against the
lawful claims of all persons whatever. This April 14th 1892.

Clerk of County Court of said County, the within named A. E. Stark the bargainor with whom I
am personally acquainted, and who acknowledged that he executed the within instrument for the
purpose therein contained.
