Location: RONEY CEMETERY, Northeast Corner, intersection of Hwy 25 and 31W, on bluff. Transcribed by Sara E. Edwards on October 19, 1969. The cemetery is walled with a stone wall and divided by a wall down the center, separating the older and newer sections. When I played there as a child, it was covered with lilies of the valley in spring. In 1969 it was overgrown with weeds and trees. The older headstones were not all legible. Some had weathered smooth, and one had a tree grown through it, holding it face down so it could not be read. Following are the legible stones:
W. H. RONEY, died March 30, 1845
CATHARINE RONEY, died April 11, 1840
JAMES RONEY, died November 21, 1844
