In the name of God Amen. I James Busby of Sumner County of the State of Tennefsee of Loman
being infirm in body but in perfect mind and memory do make and ordain this my last Will and
Testament in order following that is to say_ I give and commend my Sould unto the hands of
Almighty God that gave it and My body I recommend to the earth to be decently intered
at the direction of My Executors, and touching such worldly Estate which it hath pleased God to
blefs one with, I will and bequeath in the following manner and form I Bequeath to my well
beloved daughter Polly Pitt one sorel mare and Saddle, one Bed & furniture One Cow and Calf,
by her freely to be enjoyed from this time I Bequeath to my Well beloved wife Dorotha Busby all
my estate both personnal and real by her freely to be enjoyed during life, and at her death to
be equally divided amongst all my children which is ten in number and if a eleventh in due time
divisture it is to Share equal with the rest__ My First born Polly Busby, Anderson Busby, Sussin
Busby, Henry Busby, Betsy Busby, Ann Busby, Patsey Busby, Susanah, Busby, Howard Busby,
Dorothea Busby, and I likewise constitute my beloved brothers William Busby and Stephan
Busby to be my lawful Executors to make all eight, good to my heirs when they come of age__
and I do hereby entirely disallow, revoke, dis......ll all and any other former Testament and will by
me in any ways before hand made, within such byzss........thed ratifying and confirming this and
noother to be my last will and Testament.

This last will and Testament of James Busby dec'd was produced in court for probate and
Tessif.... on John Cotton and John Mitchell two of the subscribing witnefsess to the said will made
oath that the said James Buby, Signed sealed, published and declared the Same to be his last will
and Testament in their presence, and that they subscribed their names as witnefsess thereto at the
request of the Testator, with that said Testator at the time of Signing said will was of Sound mind
and Memory whereupon said will is ordered to be recorded.
