Note: The Baulch Family Bible was originally owned by John R. Balch (1810-1892) and his wife,
Sophia Stone (1814-1885). The last known owners were Maude and Willard Baulch, children of
Alfred Nelson Baulch (Balch). In January 2002 Mary Bright Hunter Young provided a
transcription to Howard Stone Baulch that had been done decades earlier by her mother, Jessie
Beatrice Nimmo Hunter. This is a record of her transcription.
