Tennessee Vital Records, Department of Health: has Tennessee death, divorce and marriage records for the years 1957-2007. Fees are as follows; Births: $15.00 for first copy and $2.00 for each additional copy of the same record. For births from 1949 to present a computer generated copy can be obtained for $5.00 with each additional copy $2.00. Both types are certified and include a raised, embossed seal. Deaths: $5.00 per certified copy. The cause of death is not normally included on a certified copy unless specifically requested and then is available only to certain family members or legal representatives. Marriage and Divorce Records: $10.00 for the first copy and $2.00 for each additional copy. Fees include a search the year before and the year after the requested record date. If no record is found in the search, you will be notified by mail. The fee is not refunded as it is charged for the search. | ||
