Their son John and wife, Catharine Umphres, have marker herein, and 3 of their daughters and 3 of their sons are buried here, viz: Polly, wife of James Webb, Bettie, wife of Simon Deck, and Nancy, wife of John Massengill and mother of Dr. John David Massengill; George, David Hart, and John Umphres Smith. Mary Powell, wife of David Hart Smith, and Simon Deck, vir of Bettie, and James Webb, vir of Polly, are buried here.
