{"id":3129,"date":"2013-01-19T15:22:28","date_gmt":"2013-01-19T21:22:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tngenweb.org\/sullivan\/?p=3129"},"modified":"2013-01-19T15:23:24","modified_gmt":"2013-01-19T21:23:24","slug":"crawford-fain-cemetery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tngenweb.org\/sullivan\/crawford-fain-cemetery\/","title":{"rendered":"Crawford-Fain Cemetery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Also called the Crawford Cemetery and the Holston Institute Cemetery, the cemetery is located 450 ft. north of the intersection of Muddy Creek Road and Fain Drive in a wooded area of the pasture field.\u00a0 The cemetery was very overgrown, with many stones broken and fallen over.\u00a0 There were at least nine graves marked by fieldstones and probably a few unmarked graves.\u00a0 The cemetery was surveyed on 10 April 1934 by Hannah V. Boyd.\u00a0 There were several more markers found at that time and they are included on this list, as well as two names taken from Charles M. It is very likely that he fought at the Battle of Kings Mountain.\u00a0 Thomas married Sallie Crawford on 26 Mar 1812.\u00a0 Siblings of Thomas include: Nicholas (b 1782), Ruth (b 1784), and John (b 1788).
