Located in the field at the end of Rice Cross Road, on the Anderson farm property, near the Smith Cemetery on the banks of Boone Lake.\u00a0 The cemetery doesn\u2019t appear to be the actual spot of the graves, as there were no sunken spots or vinca.\u00a0 The only tombstone found there was out of the ground, still attached to the base, within 75 ft. of the Smith-Cross Cemetery.\u00a0 In 1976 there was also a stone for N. T. Crussell (22 Apr 1860 \u2013 14 Jul 1861).\u00a0 We searched the area 150 ft. in all directions, including the Smith Cemetery, but couldn\u2019t find the stone.<\/p>\n

Henry Martin Crussell\u2019s death certificate states that he is buried in the New Hope Cemetery, Sullivan County and, indeed, he has a marker there, along with his wife, Sarah E. Crussell.<\/p>\n
