GAMMON<\/strong>, of Rome, Ga., was thrown from his horse last Tuesday, near <strong>Dr. N.T. DULANEY<\/strong>&#8216;s, one mile from Blountville, died on Thursday. \u00a0He was thrown against the corner of a fence, and had his skull fractured just above the left eye. \u00a0He showed no signs of consciousness from the time of the accident to his death.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><em>Source: \u00a0Bristol News, 22 Jan 1878, pg. 3.
