In the name of good_?_(God Amen)I Malcom Smith of the County
of Smith and state of Tennyse being sick and weeke in body but of sound mind
and perfect memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in manor
and form following towit that is to say in the first place I will and order
that all my just debts be paid. Secondly I give and bequeath unto my dear
beloved wife Sally Smith one sorel horse three years old past, one black cow
unmarked, and one black calf, twelve head of hoggs, one head sted and furniture
one wheel and carts one pot one oven and led one cherry chest all the
waterpails and all the cupboard ware one walnut table one plow and gear two
hoes one saddle and bridle and one pole [ase] as her full portion and share of
my estate to lie and remain hers during her natural life all accept and horse and
him only her widowhood and if she Sally Smith shall marry then the above
{described} horse to be sold and the profits arising from the sale thereof be
equally divided between my two youngest daughters Mary and Martha.
Thirdly I give and bequeath unto my oldest sons and daughters towit Radisa
Fieldings heirs, Alfred, Daniell, William, Allen, Naomy, Abel and Betsey Smith
twenty five cents in money each as their full portion and share of my
estate. I also give and bequeath unto my son Henry Smith twenty five
dollars in money as his full share and portion of my estate and also give and
bequeath unto my daughter Mil{ad}y one new head sted and furniture as a full
portion and share of my estate. I also give and bequeath unto my youngest
son Malcom Smith twenty five dollars in money and all and every of the before
mentioned articles of property and sums of money I will and order shall be paid
and delivered according to law after my death and I also do hereby constitute
and appoint my sons Alfred and Daniel by executors to carry into affect this my
last will and wish signed and sealed in presents of us this 29th
day of August in the year 1827.
