IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN. I, WILLIAM PARKER. of Smith County and
State of Tennessee, being in sound mind and perfect memory, do make and
ordain this to be my last will and Testament in manner and form following,
My desire that everything I own or profits to be collected together
are to be sold to the highest bidder at twelve months credit, with them
giving their bonds, and at twelve months' end, when the money is
collected, for DREWRY ANDREWS to have one dollar to him and his heirs
forever; then the balance to be divided between my five children,
WILLIAM PARKER, RICHARD PARKER, EDWARD PARKER, JOSEPH PARKER,
and LUCY WEST, to them and their heirs forever, only for every child to give to
MARVAN'S son,JOSEPH, four dollars apiece to him and his heirs forever,
and for that money to be put upon interest til he becomes to age of
twenty one, by the executors, but if he dies before he comes to that
age, for each one to have his money back again.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I set my hand this nineteenth day of May, 1817.
I appoint MILES WEST, WILLIAM PARKER, and RICHARD PARKER executors of
this my Last Will and Testament.

The within Last Will and Testament of WILLIAM PARKER, deceased, was
produced in open court and the due execution thereof was proven by
ABRAHAM PARKER, one of the witnesses thereto, who also made known that
ROBERT WILBURN, and ARCHER PARKER, the other witnesses, signed as such
in his presence and at this time out of the state, on motion it is
ordered to be recorded. MILES WEST, WILLIAM PARKER, and RICHARD PARKER,
executors therein named, came into court, qualified and entered into a
bond a security content as the law directed. Letter of testimony is
therefore granted them accordingly.

Inventory of the estate of WILLIAM PARKER, deceased, 29th October, 1818.

This day this inventory taken of WILLIAM PARKER's property, to wit:
one negro named GEORGE one bay mare, one sorrel mare, one cow and calf,
one yearling, and a parcel of hogs and half of the corn, and three
feather beds and furniture, and one kettle and one pot, one oven, one
skillet and three pair of pot hooks, one pewter dish and one basin and
three plates, three spoons and three knives and six forks, one bale, one
cup and saucer, one sugar dish, one coffee pot, spice mortar and pestle
and crock, and two butter plates, two tables, one trunk, one chest, one
sugar box, two sugar stands, a parcel of barrels, one piggin, one cotton
wheel and four chairs, two bedsteads and covers, one loom, one straw
basket, one razor hone, one crosscut saw, and a part in a whipsaw, and a
part in a pair of steelyards, two axes, one plow, two hoes, two wedges,
one adz, five chisels, one gauge and two augurs, one drawing knife, one
handsaw, one tennant saw, one crown, one dowel and jointer stock, one
plow molder, one rasp and rule, one hatchet and stand and candle mold
and hammer, two sifters, two collars, four swingletrees, three clevices,
seven bags of corn, and bridle, one cart, two baskets, one pair of
nippers, one pair of sheepshears.
