In the name of Almighty God, I John
Parker being aware of the uncertainty of life and being in feeble health but in
my perfect senses do make this my last Will and Testament. 1st I give to my
wife Temperance Parker the tract of land on which I reside during her life time
or widdowhood after the payment of all my debts.
2nd I further give to my said wife
such of my stock as she may select for the purpose of keeping up the farm and
the residue I wish my Executor hereinafter named to sell and the money arising
from the sale appropriate by him to the necessary support and comfort of my
said wife Temperance. 3rd
I make the same devise in regard to
all the personal property that I may die possessed of that she have the
selection of such as she may deem necessary and the residue of any sale and the
money or moneys appropriate as above directed. 4th
After the death or marriage of my
wife as the case may be then it is my wish and will that all my property both
personal and real or the proceeds as may be deemed expedient equally divided
between my son William Parker and my grandson John H. Parker.
5th I give to my son William Parker
my mill together with the land attached thereto.
6th I also give to my said son
William Parker the privilege of getting any wood or timber that may be
necessary for the keeping up the mill property upon my land bequeathed to my
wife Temperance Parker.
7th I nominate and appoint Paul
Clay my executor and request him to see all my bequests fully and faithfully
carried into effect as witness my hand this 1st March 1859.

Then
the last Will and Testamony? Of John Parker deceased was produced in open court
by an oath of Daudridge A. Witt and E. J. Teaman? subscribing witnesses thereto
where on motion said last Will and Testament was ordered to be filed and
recorded.
