Thomas Morgan Gregory, Jr. (my uncle) was the son of Thomas Morgan and Marietta Ballou
Gregory and was the younger brother of Calvin Gregory. After the war, he married Estelle Scott,
of Rockvale, Tennessee (Rutherford County) and later moved to Toledo, Ohio. There, he lived
the rest of his life and was the manager of a food store. He and Estelle became the parents of
two children. Tom was born October 1, 1892 and died May 11, 1966. Both he and Estelle are
buried in the Scott family cemetery at Rockvale.
Tom wrote this letter to his younger sister, Marietta, who was married to Donnie Perrigo.
