James (Jim) Harris b. 1827 was the son of John Harris and Susan most likey a Dillard
in my records I have her as a Rutherford but i don't know where i got that information.
In my search i keep finding a Susan Dillard marrying a John Harris at this
writing i am unsure if this is our John Harris. Updated Dec 29, 2002
Nancy A. Dillard wife of James, died 1890 thus this picture was made after that date.
Nancy was the daughter of Daniel and Leodicia Dillard. The Dillard family may
hold the answers to many of our Harris mysteries.

to Amelia (Mealy) Francis Petty wife of Albert F. Harris above.
