L-R: Robert David (Corker) Dickerson, b Jan 22, 1892, d Feb 11, 1956, married Nellie Givens,
b Sep 21, 1900, d Jan 19, 1973. They had four children who lived to be adults. They lived on
the Stone Branch in the Pleasant Shade community and their house is shown with the Stone
Cemetery pictures on this website. They are buried in Sanderson's Cemetery.
William Pickering (Will) Dickerson, b Jan 30, 1886, d May 9, 1974, married Jettie Earps,
b Jul 14, 1892, d Aug 30, 1934. They had a number of children who lived to be adults and lived
on the home site of Will's grandfather, Lanson Dickerson, in the Dickerson Hollow near Pleasant
Shade. They are buried in the Jabe Gregory Cemetery in Trousdale County.
John Thomas Dickerson, b January 15, 1875, d April 28, 1962, married Laura Aldora Smith,
b August 2, 1880, d October 2, 1972. They had seven children that lived to be adults. They lived on
Little Peyton's Creek near Pleasant Shade and are buried in Sanderson's Cemetery. ,

John and his younger brother, Sam, (shown later) married sisters. Their wives parents,
Wade and Missouri Smith, are shown in the "Pictures of Past Families" on this website.
Mary M. Dickerson, b Jan 1, 1885, d Dec 13, 1979, married Herschel Gregory, b Dec 8, 1886,
d Jul 22, 1961. They had three children who lived to be adults and lived on the Young Branch in the
Mace's Hill community of Smith County. They are buried in the Dixon Springs Cemetery.
Nancy Rebecca Dickerson, b Mar 28, 1889, d Dec 23, 1963 married James (Frank) Watson,
b Aug 30, 1886, d Apr 24, 1961. They had five children who lived to be adults and lived on Little
Peyton's Creek near the Macon-Smith County line. They are buried in the Will Gregory Cemetery.
