Jonathan Bell Clark (b March 30, 1840on Bluff Creek, Smith Co., TN) was the son of Thomas Anderson
Clark and Eliza Ann Scurlock Clark.His wife Lurana Jane Ligon Clark(born. Sept. 19, 1842, Bluff Creek
Smith Co., TN was the daughter of Thomas Prowell Ligon and Drucilla J. Sampson Ligon. Both the
Ligon and Sampson families lived on Bluff Creek They married October 18, 1868 in New Middleton
and made their home on Dyers Branch.She passed away on Nov. 11, 1904 and he in Oct. of 1905. They
are buried in the Clark Cenetery on Dyers Branch .
