Notes: The Bob Chambers family lived on the Nixon Hollow Road located between Monoville and
Pleasant Shade. Robert King Chambers born Jan 29, 1877 died Oct 11, 1929 he was the son of
James (Jim) Chambers and Tennessee (Tennie) Porter. Dora P. (Nallie) Russell Chambers born
Feb 26, 1879 and died June 8, 1967 she was the daughter of Richard Henry (Rich) Russell and
Mary Frances (Mollie) Garrett. Maud Chambers born Nov 24, 1899 and died May 1, 1987 he
married Mamie Lankford and then Gertrude (Gertie) Andrews; Bertha Chambers born Aug 31, 1902
and died March 13, 1999 she married Lossie B Craighead; Ethie Chambers was born Oct 16, 1909
and died March 1, 1967 she married Lonnie Knight and then Marlin Bransford; Wesley Carthell
Chambers born Jan 20, 1913 and died Jan 28, 1998 he married married Doris Hackett; Estell
Chambers born Jan 20, 1913 married Albert Turner and then C. V. Lyles; Theodore Garlon Chambers
born Jan 27, 1915 and married Velma Lankford born May 8, 1918 and died Feb 10, 1996.
The youngest daughter of Bob and Nallie Chambers, Opal Olene Chambers born 1924 and died 1992
was not born a the time of this picture. She married James Brewington. Carthell and Estell
were twins. Richard Chambers died in early childhood born Oct 31, 1905 died July 7, 1908.
He is buried in the little Russell cemetery near the Pole (N.P.) Beasley cemetery and near
the Dr Green house which is near the Nixon hollow road. This was the home place of Nallie
Russell Chambers. Nallies father and mother are also buried there (Richard Henry Russell
and Mary Francis (Mollie) Garrett Russell). There is a tombstone for Richard Chambers
and one for Mollie but not one for Richard H. Russell. The location of Richard Henry Russell's
grave I believe to be an unmark space between his two wives, Mollie and Susie Eller.
